Spectral Mapping Theorems for Hyponormal Operators

چکیده
Let T=H+iK be hyponormal and Q be a strictly monotone increasing continuous function on s(H ). We define ~ Q(T ) by ~ Q(T )=Q(H )+iK. In this paper, we show that if z is an isolated eigenvalue of ~ Q(T ), then the corresponding Riesz projection is self-adjoint. Also we introduce Xia spectrum and study the existence of an invariant subspace of an operator ~ Q(T ).

6 Generalized Browder ’ S and Weyl ’ S Theorems for Banach Space Operators
We find necessary and sufficient conditions for a Banach space operator T to satisfy the generalized Browder's theorem, and we obtain new necessary and sufficient conditions to guarantee that the spectral mapping theorem holds for the B-Weyl spectrum and for polynomials in T. We also prove that the spectral mapping theorem holds for the B-Browder spectrum and for analytic functions on an open n...
متن کاملContinuity of Generalized Intertwining Linear Operators for Operators with Property (δ) and Hyponormal Operators
In this paper, we show that for a hyponormal operator the analytic spectral subspace coincides with the algebraic spectral subspace. Using this result, we have the following result: Let T be a operator with property (δ) on a Banach space X and let S be a hyponormal operator on a Hilbert space H. Then every generalized intertwining linear operator θ : X → H for (S, T ) is continuous if and only ...
متن کاملGeneralized Browder’s and Weyl’s Theorems for Banach Space Operators
We find necessary and sufficient conditions for a Banach space operator T to satisfy the generalized Browder’s theorem. We also prove that the spectral mapping theorem holds for the Drazin spectrum and for analytic functions on an open neighborhood of σ(T ). As applications, we show that if T is algebraically M -hyponormal, or if T is algebraically paranormal, then the generalized Weyl’s theore...
متن کاملBlock Toeplitz operators with rational symbols
Toeplitz operators (or equivalently, Wiener-Hopf operators; more generally, block Toeplitz operators; and particularly, Toeplitz determinants) are of importance in connection with a variety of problems in physics, and in particular, in the field of quantum mechanics. For example, a study of solvable models in quantum mechanics uses the spectral theory of Toeplitz operators (cf. [Pr]); the one-d...
متن کاملA PUTNAM AREA INEQUALITY FOR THE SPECTRUM OF n-TUPLES OF p-HYPONORMAL OPERATORS
We prove an n-tuple analogue of the Putnam area inequality for the spectrum of a single p-hyponormal operator. Let B H denote the algebra of operators (i.e. bounded linear transformations) on a separable Hilbert space H. The operator A 2 B H is said to be p-hyponormal, 0 < p 1, if jA j2p jAj2p. Let H p denote the class of p-hyponormal operators. Then H 1 consists of the class of p-hyponorma...
